Work of the Week – ‘Virgin and Child with the Infant John the Baptist and St. Anne’ by Leonardo da Vinci

I saw this at the National Gallery a couple of years ago and it blew me away. It’s just an incredible drawing.
A song for the weekend Oh Why – Balam Acab
Work of the Week – ‘From here it all looks the same’ by Claire Brewster

She sits at her desk cutting up old maps with a sharp knife. This is one of her results. More from her can be seen here.

Song for the day Bing Crosby and the Andrews Sisters ‘Accentuate the Positive’
Work of the week – ‘Telepoem 1969′ by Sweeney Read
Although the style of this work is very different to mine the sentiment is the same. It reminds me of Yoko One telling us to take a walk and look at the clouds. Work of the week – ‘The Major World Troublemaker Beetles’ by Gregory L Blackstock

Gregory is an Artist Savant who creates visual lists of everything. I’m not absolutely keen on all of his work but the animal paintings I do like.
